Who we are
The Sunflower Charitable Foundation was established in Ireland in 2021 as a family trust and registered charity.
Our Foundation was set up during COVID-19 lockdown restrictions when we planted sunflower seeds and shared images of the plants sprouting brilliant flowers. Our sunflower logo represents growth, optimism, strength and nature—attributes which reflect our Foundation themes of resilience and sustainability.
Mission
The mission of our Foundation is to support the growth of resilient communities – with a particular focus on the wellbeing of children and young people – and contribute to environment sustainability in Ireland and overseas.
